Welcome to CASH-ONLINE

This site aims to provide people with the basic financial skills needed to run successful charities and voluntary organisations. CASH-ONLINE is published by Community Accountancy Self Help.

May 2008: update

Training dates have been revised

We’ve added the book Community Money Matters to the site. This is our comprehensive guide to financial management and accounting for small charities and community organisations. There is a special emphasis on running community buildings and employment issues.

There is now a survey on the site (at the bottom of most pages). Please complete the questionnaire. You will help us improve CASH-ONLINE and help our fundraising. Thank you.

We’ve added the 2007/2008 NJC payscales to the site.

We’ve added the report into the provision of community accountancy in England, produced by Sheffield Hallam University: Analysis of community accountancy services in England and strategic implications.

The author is Paul Boielle, one of CASH’s community accountants.

There may be occasions when our service falls below the quality that it is reasonable for our users to expect. If this happens we need to know.

Lottery funded

CASH is funded by The Big Lottery Fund to work on two projects. One in Tower Hamlets and Hackney providing support to a range of BME voluntary organisations and their trustees. The second project provides training for BME charities in fourteen London boroughs.
