CASH's Funders
The London Councils contribute to the site through a substantial annual grant they make to CASH to provide community accountancy across London.
CASH-ONLINE has been around since February 1999, when it was first launched as a pilot project. With the support of the Lloyds TSB Foundation for England & Wales we were able to resolve a number of long standing technical issues on the site, as well as developing new factsheets and other features.
CASH is grateful to all its funders. These include:
- The Big Lottery Fund
- London Councils
- City Parochial Foundation
- Richmond CVS
- Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea
- London Borough of Ealing
- London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham
- City of Westminster
Lottery funded
CASH is funded by The Big Lottery Fund to work on two projects. One in Tower Hamlets and Hackney providing support to a range of BME voluntary organisations and their trustees. The second project provides training for BME charities in fourteen London boroughs.

CASH earns some money through social enterprise trading activities including selling community accountant’s time to Richmond CVS and Hackney Community Accountancy Project. CASH also earns a small amount from training fees, publications and occasional consultancy.
Email Tom Fitch – CASH’s Director – or phone 020 8969 0747 if you would like more information about CASH’s funding.
